Terms of Service

Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using AI Office, you agree to these Terms of Service. AI Office is operated by Kurcz Software GmbH, a company registered in Stuttgart, Germany. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

These terms apply to all users of AI Office, including the web application at aioffice.so and the desktop application distributed for macOS and Windows.

The Service

AI Office is a deployment platform for AI agents powered by the OpenClaw framework. The service allows you to configure, deploy, and interact with AI agents that can communicate via chat, email, SMS, and voice. AI Office is available as a web application and a native desktop application built with Tauri.

Your Account

You create an account through Clerk, our authentication provider. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information during registration and keep it up to date.

If you use AI Office on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create, upload, or transmit through AI Office — including messages, files, tasks, and agent configurations. By using the service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and transmit your content solely to provide and improve the service.

You are responsible for ensuring that your content does not violate any applicable laws or third-party rights.

AI-Generated Output

AI Office uses large language models from providers including Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and Mistral to power agent conversations. Your conversation context — including messages, system prompts, and tool call data — is sent to these providers for processing.

AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. We make no warranty regarding the accuracy, reliability, or fitness of AI outputs for any particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying AI-generated content before relying on it for any decision or action.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use AI Office to:

• Engage in any illegal activity or violate any applicable law
• Harass, abuse, threaten, or harm any person or group
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service
• Use automated systems to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the service
• Interfere with, disrupt, or overburden the service or its infrastructure
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation

Communication Features

AI Office agents can send and receive email, SMS, and voice calls on your behalf. These communication features are subject to rate limits:

• 50 emails per hour per agent
• 20 SMS messages per hour per agent
• 5 voice calls per hour per agent

You are responsible for ensuring that communications sent through your agents comply with all applicable laws, including CAN-SPAM (US), TCPA (US), and GDPR (EU). You must obtain proper consent before directing agents to contact individuals.

API Keys & Credentials

You may provide API keys for third-party AI providers to use with AI Office. You are solely responsible for the security and proper use of your API keys.

In the desktop app, API keys are stored in your operating system's native keychain. Our servers never store your plaintext API keys — only masked references (first and last four characters) for display purposes. If you believe your credentials have been compromised, revoke them immediately with the relevant provider.

Subscriptions & Billing

AI Office offers subscription plans with varying feature levels and usage limits. All payments are processed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you retain access through the end of your current billing period. Refunds are handled at our discretion and evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Intellectual Property

The AI Office name, logo, and branding are the property of Kurcz Software GmbH. The OpenClaw framework and its associated branding are also the property of Kurcz Software GmbH. Open-source components used in AI Office are distributed under their respective licenses.

Nothing in these terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or branding without prior written permission.

Disclaimer of Warranties

AI Office is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy or reliability of any AI-generated content.

This disclaimer does not affect any statutory rights that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including EU consumer protection law.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kurcz Software GmbH shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under German or EU law. Your statutory consumer protection rights remain fully preserved.

Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You can close your account through your account settings or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, with notice where practicable.

Upon termination, your data will be available for export for 30 days. After that period, we will delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Stuttgart, Germany.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you retain the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence. You may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' advance notice by email. Your continued use of AI Office after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
